Description:
Chase is a year and a half but still has some puppy energy in him. Chase is living up to his name. It seems he might have potential as a herding dog as he likes to chase and try to herd his foster mom’s cat and small dogs. So Chase might do best in a home with medium to large dogs and no cats. He is house trained and will use a crate. Chase has learned his name and to sit. Other commands are a work in progress. Right now, Chase is still being shy with new situations, but his foster mom thinks that once he is settled in his forever home, he will gain confidence. Chase is shy about meeting new people, but is a “Velcro” dog with his foster mom. Chase likes to cuddle on the couch and will initiate play with his toys. Once outside, he likes to run zoomies if someone is with him.
Chase might do best with someone experienced with introducing shy or nervous dogs to new people and situations. More of Chase’s personality is being revealed as he adjusts to his new foster home. Once settled in his forever home, Chase will become fully the dog he was always meant to be.
Note: Chase will need a physically fenced yard.
