Description:
Look at this handsome sheltie! So far we mostly know that Jaxon really likes lounging on the couch and eating whipped cream. In fact, he pays close attention when someone is going to the fridge just because he knows that’s where the whipped cream is kept. Jaxon gets along great with the foster mom’s kitten, even to the point of them sharing the same food dish. Cute Jaxon doesn’t see the need to stand to eat, preferring to lie down to chow down.
So far Jaxon isn’t motivated to learn commands, even if offered his beloved whipped cream. If he knows any commands, he’s keeping it a secret for now. Jaxon is improving with his house training. He walks on the leash but wants to be a bit of a “wild pony” at times. When Jaxon runs zoomies, he is that wild pony! Like most shelties, he will bark at the neighbor’s dog along with the other shelties in the foster home. Jaxon is heartworm positive and will be receiving treatment.
Jaxon, this big, beautiful mahogany coated sheltie, is trusting, calm and attentive. He is still adjusting to his foster home and will show more of who he is as he becomes more comfortable. It is highly recommended, by Jaxon, that his forever home keep some whipped cream on hand for those times when he has been a good boy. Or has been cute. Or has just been his very special self.
**Note: Jaxon will need a physically fenced yard.
