Summit lived most of his life with an elderly couple who owned an orchard.  He was the official “greeter” and everyone loved him.  Unfortunately, the elderly couple fell on hard times and were not able to continue caring for him.  A caring groomer in the area rescued him and that is how he ended up in the loving care of Almost Home!

Summitt is loving, gentle, kind, and good with children.  His family has only heard him bark a couple of times and have said he NEVER growls or complains.  He has had leg surgery and loves his slow, leisurely walks.  He never pulls on a leash.  Summitt handles whatever is thrown at him without a whine or whimper.  He is truly a wonderful companion, demonstrating the love and loyalty of a great dog!

After spending decades of her career improving her clients’ and employers’ brands, sales and overall profitability, she decided to take a leap and begin her own management on demand company, MOD.
