An Update on Ty
We adopted Ty (now Tyler) in June of this year. He was a little apprehensive at first but took to his new home quickly. He likes to be close and attempts to stay in the same room we are in. Of course, we did not see our two cats for about two days. Slowly they began to get use to him and one of the cats likes to go into Ty’s cage when he is out. Lately I saw both of them in the cage together with the door open.

A “fetch” lesson with Charley
Ty did not know how to “fetch”. So we brought in my daughter’s very hyper border collie, Charley, for some lessons. It didn’t take long for him to get the idea.
Ty has become part of the family and now that he knows his boundaries and is comfortable, he has shown us a mischievous side that all puppies have. He likes to start “playing” with the cats especially when they’re napping and he can wake them up.
Ty: The Frisbee king
Diana and I are grateful that we found AHDRO and Ty has been a wonderful addition to our family. We look forward to sending more updates in the future and hope everybody has the chance to adopt one of these wonderful dogs.
