In Memory of Travis
Breed: Sheltie
Description
When Travis came to the rescue he endured more than 3 hours of fecal removal from his severely matted fur. He had urine burns on his thighs and many open sores on his body. In the weeks following his rescue, he received sitz-baths for his sores and much-needed medical care and grooming. Today Travis’s eyes are brighter and his beautiful spirit is evident to everyone who meets him. There is no trace of the dog he used to be. He enjoys chasing squirrels and rabbits in his fenced yard and even playing with toys!
A devoted senior to senior volunteer has provided Travis with a permanent place to live where he will be loved, cherished, and guaranteed the best of care for the rest of his life.
