Looked into my soul from his picture on Petfinder and I knew, I had to rescue him. I worked all morning on trying to pull him. He was in the Harbor Humane Society in West Olive, MI.

Shelter volunteers told me that he could not stand and was found as a stray. Debbie Krohn of Tri-County Collie Rescue of Michigan pulled him for me and drove a great distance to meet my rescue friend’s husband, Denny Boyle.

Denny’s wife, Linda, made a vet appointment for Nicki in Toledo. He was seen that day and it was determined that he had come to the time to cross over to the Rainbow Bridge. His expression was dear and one that I will forever remember.
