In Memory of Carson

DIED JANUARY 2008

Carson never had a chance to live. He was a beautiful, young, sable Collie; a stray, he was found with a female Collie in southern Ohio. They were both pulled from a shelter by AHDRO volunteers. He and the girl were extremely thin with skin conditions. Carson died before we could bring him up to Columbus to care for him ourselves. His death will help other Collies live, as he was killed by the administration of Ivermectin. The effects will be studied and the results shared with those who can use the information to save lives.

We met Carson after he died. We mourn him and deeply regret that we did not have the chance to love him in life.

Carson, you were loved, and will always be part of Almost Home. We will miss you.
