Description:

Natasha, who responds to being called “Tasha,” is a sweet sheltie, a gentle soul who loves to be close and cuddle with her people. Belly rubs and ear rubs will quickly endear her to her forever family. Natasha is mellow and calm but alert to what is going on around her. She is a little hesitant around new people and dogs but warms up and pretty much ignores the resident cat (but does not like a cat batting at her face). We think she would love having a fenced in yard to have freedom to roam on her own but she also does well on a leash and enjoys leash walking. She is learning the commands Sit and Come and is both food motivated and eager to please. Although she has been crate trained, her foster has not used one and she has been trustworthy in the house while the foster is away. She is good natured, has excellent house manners, and does well in the car. We do not know about her early history but have noticed she is a bit head shy so her forever family can take that into account when they approach her. She has done well with older children and is described as a “sweet, typical sheltie.” She adapted easily and well to her foster home and is ready and waiting, is she waiting for you?
