Description:
Hi! My name is Sammy and I’ve been with my foster mom and two collie siblings for just a couple of weeks now. I LOVE my collie sister because she plays with me a lot. My collie brother doesn’t really care for my puppy energy so I leave him alone though I think I see him warming up to me. I like all dogs I meet, even if they don’t know what to think of me at first. If I keep barking and play-bowing at them, they all come around to play with me eventually—even my foster brother if we’re outside. I have a fenced backyard that I find quite fascinating. There are so many bugs, and sticks, and mulch to chew on and it’s so much fun to dig for roots! I especially like to chew up hosta though my foster mom keeps telling me “no”! I’m learning. Racing around the yard with my foster siblings is my favorite past-time, unless we’re rough-housing inside with toys. When it’s feeding time, I gobble down my kibble really quickly then go to check on if my foster siblings are done and try helping them finish which my foster mom doesn’t appreciate. I am learning to wait patiently though which is easier if I have a chew toy to distract me.
When I’m tired, my favorite spot is in my foster mom’s lap. I LOVE to cuddle and will snuggle in anyone’s arms if given the chance—I’m an equal opportunity snuggler and if you rub my belly, I just melt. I can’t wait to move into my forever home. I hope it has another dog or children to play with as I have a ton of puppy energy to burn off every day.
