Description:

Meet loveable Suki! This adorable, petite, sable collie came to Almost Home from a farm as an owner surrender. She lived outside her whole life and is learning to live inside the comfort of her foster home. Her foster family is working on her house manners. She is making improvements in being house trained and knows her name and will come when called. Suki is a bit anxious about sudden noises, especially outside. Her foster family lives in the city which is new to her. She is making progress daily in her new environment.

Suki enjoys the company of the house dog and cat. She is playful but will back off if the other dog is taking the play time too far or is making her nervous. She is curious about the family cat but doesn't really pay much attention to her. She enjoys playing with her toys in the house and stays very close to her foster family.

This extremely sweet girl warms up to new people, being cautious at first. Once she knows she is safe, she is extremely friendly and affectionate.Suki has adjusted very well with her foster family. She is a little shadow and just wants to be near someone. The house with other people/pets is her safe space. She will need consistent guidance and training to learn more of her commands but appears motivated to learn. With gentle guidance, patience and love she will make a great companion.
