Description:
Happy Ziggy’s photos might not make a great impression because his former owner shaved him. However, we assure you that Ziggy is a big rough collie and that his fur is growing back. Ziggy still has puppy exuberance and loves to be around people and make new friends. He is in the process of being trained not to jump in his joy at getting to say “hi” to someone. He is awaiting his neuter, and presumably his house training will be finished after that takes place. He doesn’t have accidents in the crate.
Ziggy loves his squeak toys and being outside with his foster mom. Everything is still so new to him, yet he doesn’t seem anxious about anything. Inside, besides playing with his toys, he wants to watch what his foster mom is doing. He gets along with her dogs and likes to play with them if they accompany him outside. He’s sniffed at the cat and been a bit interested but no problems. A silly thing that Ziggy sometimes does is opt to go out through his foster mom’s legs rather than around her when she lets the dogs outside. He is such a sweet, silly boy.
Ziggy is what we often call a “diamond in the rough.” Look beyond his shaved coat and his need to learn commands and you will see a dog who is loving, energetic and waiting to joyfully greet his forever family and for them to give him treats, play time and lots of love in return.
