Description:

Candy is a young, beautiful collie. She is typical of a dog her age; she enjoys playing chase with other dogs, chewing, cuddling and has been known to have zoomies -- such is a day in the life of a happy puppy.  She is definitely a velcro dog, wanting to be wherever her foster and generally relaxed indoors. She is smart, eager to please and also willing to learn new things. Although sometimes cautious with new adults, she has quickly initiated interaction with children she’s met. Sweet Candy is working on house training and leash walking, and both are progressing well.

Now that her spay is healed her fosters are initiating crate training. She prefers that people be home with her, but her life has had significant changes in the last few weeks so that is truly understandable.

Candy is playful, fun-loving and sociable. She knows her own mind and is enthusiastic in all she does. She is ready for her forever home and an understanding family that will gently guide her to adulthood.
