Description:

Meet Alex, our handsome 4-year-old sable collie who prances like a prince with his beautiful coat flowing in the breeze. He has a very sensitive nature and wants to please. He loves people, is affectionate and is a “Velcro dog” with his foster parents. He likes barking to get your attention and is working to understand when to stop. This is a hard task with sheltie foster siblings. Alex walks nicely on leash though is still learning his basic commands. His foster mom is working on “Sit”, “Leave it”, and “Wait.”

He shows no signs of food aggression, is house trained, crate trained and loves to go on a car ride. He has been kind and accepting of his foster sheltie siblings and is learning to play doggy games. Alex’s previous owner said he is good with cats though he’s not around them in his foster home so his foster family cannot confirm this. Alex is happiest on a walk or sitting next to you.

If you are looking for a companion who loves your company, Alex is your boy!
