Description:

Link is a handsome, friendly collie who enjoys being with people and with other dogs. No one he meets, whether canine or human is a stranger; he is happy to greet all.  With dogs, he loves to play and run and initiates a game of chase with his foster siblings. However indoors he loves to cuddle and is happy to be where ever his foster mom is and especially enjoys sitting with her on the couch. In fact, he believes it is his duty to make sure she has a companion there. He is smart and eager to learn and has mastered Sit and Shake/Paw and is working on Down. 

Link is crate trained, house trained, and is calm in the car. His leash walking is pretty good although his natural curiosity does tend to make him want to investigate anything he deems interesting.  He is good with the cats in the foster home, but as a young dog, is likely to chase a cat who is streaking by. Link is gentle, curious and good natured and so far has not demonstrated any fear of loud noises or household tools.  He has the typical energy level of a young dog and welcomes the opportunity to stretch his legs.  He loves to give kisses and is waiting for his forever family to show up to give them all of the love and joy in his heart.
