Pete and Angel
Here is a picture of our Pete and Angel. As you can see they get along beautifully! When we first adopted Pete, he was very skittish and very shy. He would only stay in his little corner whenever we had visitors or when we tried to play with him. He was extremely underweight and wouldn’t eat at first. Eventually he started to come out of his shell and developed his personality. My dad would take him on walks everyday, even in the snow. Pete loved it. He eventually started coming over to us and recognized us as his family.
We went to the Almost Home reunion in June and while we were there we saw Angel. She had lost her coat due to being sick and looked so lonely in her “adopt me” bandana. We took her home with us that day. It was very spur of the moment (we didn’t even have a leash!) but Pete loved the new addition to our family. Angel really brought Pete out of his shell and he acts like a regular dog. The two of them are like two peas in a pod and never leave each other’s side. We love having them in our family and are so lucky to have found them.
