Bella is a blind and deaf Collie who came to Almost Home as an owner surrender when she was seven months old. She was fostered by Grace Bowles until the LeVan family adopted her.

Bella is doing super. She has been easier than a “normal” dog to work with in many respects. Although, she is a bull and still likes to chew whatever she can knock on the floor : ). We are teaching her additional commands and still plan to do a small documentary on her. My wife and I don’t really see her as disabled anymore. Most people don’t even realize she is blind until we tell them.

 

She has kept her sweet personality. The tellers at our regular bank bugged us until we brought her with us. She was a big hit! I hope everyone at Almost Home is doing well.

 

We think that AHDRO is a fantastic, dedicated, and classy rescue organization. Keep up the good work.
