In Memory of Grant

Grant came to us amazingly still alive. He’d been left all alone when his owner went to prison. He’d not seen a human in weeks. He had heartworm so bad that it couldn’t be treated in the normal manner, and it took over a year to clear up.

Grant went into permanent foster with Ernie and Linda Tuller and lived the best months of his life with them. He learned what toys are and how to play. The heartbreak is that much too quickly Grant became ill and was diagnosed with lymphatic cancer. I will always miss Grant, as will Linda and Ernie. He embodied the will to survive, but finally, could not.
