Description:
Frosty was a beautiful, petite collie. She had a rough past but blossomed in her foster home and was looking forward to finding her forever home. She was an outside dog, but quickly learned house manners. She was house trained, was a quiet girl, could be trusted in the home without being crated (she slept in the crate but didn’t like to be “put” in it), and was good with other dogs in the household and with cats. She loved mealtimes and did a happy trot as she watched her dish come to her spot to eat. Frosty intermittently had digestive issues and needed to remain on a prescription diet, be fed 3-4 times a day, and take daily medication. The prescription food and medication ran about $100 per month altogether.
She’s was a cautious gal and took a little time to warm up to new dogs and people. But, once she got to know you she was happy to cuddle—she was a big cuddler—and watch television on the sofa with her foster mom. A little nudge to your hand would let you know she really wanted some petting. Outside, Frosty was happy to be chasing, wrestling and playing with the rest of her dog family. Rest in peace darling girl.
