Description:
Anna is a beautiful smooth collie. She is a sensitive soul who loves to snuggle with her humans and to be a couch potato. She’s especially happy if she gets to pretend she’s a lap dog. Eager to please, she only needs a gentle scolding when she is naughty. Anna is highly motivated by treats and food to work on new skills. Out in the yard, she is an explorer. Inside, she amuses herself by chewing on “bones” but isn’t really interested in toys yet. Her only anxieties involve large, noisy vehicles. On walks, she is happy to have strangers pet her and does well meeting their dogs.
Anna is inquisitive and sometimes downright nosy, but it makes her all the more endearing. The foster’s female collie and Anna had to be taught how to peacefully coexist because Annie was being territorial, but with guidance from her fosters, they resolved their conflicts. Her foster mom reports that Anna has fit easily into their routine. She thinks that Anna will make a wonderful family dog and would enjoy playing with kids.
