If you are looking for a lovebug, Malachi is the dog for you! This 7-year-old blue merle is stunning. He came to almost home as an owner surrender after living most of his life outside. His foster family says he is very smart and eager to learn. He knows the commands sit and shake and is both house trained and crate trained. Being new to indoor life, he paces at times but will happily settle down and watch the household activities from his spot. He likes to pick out toys from his stash but self limits his playtime, likely due to his age.

Malachi enjoys exploring the outdoors and likes to engage with other dogs. He was curious about the family cat at first but now has better things to do…like receive snuggles from his family. “He gets along with everyone and everything and really just wants love and attention!” This sweet boy is enjoying the comforts of a warm home and a soft place to sleep while he dreams of his forever home.
