Description:
Bailey is a beautiful, petite collie who enjoys meeting people, and people seem to warm right up to her. She loves attention and likes to be close to her people. She has done well with the resident dog. She does not appear to have had opportunities to play with toys in her past, but she just started to play “tug” with the family dog. She does zoomies and barks joyfully outside in the yard but walks well on the leash and enjoys meeting the neighbors and exploring her environment, especially out in the country. She notices squirrels and chipmunks but so far does not chase them; she has not had any interactions with cats.
Indoors she is well-behaved and has not used a crate. She is learning “sit,” “shake” and “leave it.” She responds well to praise and revels in it. She easily goes up and down stairs and rides well in a car. Bailey loves to spend time looking out the picture window, keeping track of what is going on in the neighborhood. Although she seemed a bit timid when she first arrived, she quickly became comfortable in her foster’s home and so far she does not show any fear of loud noises. Bailey is attentive, gentle and sweet and will be a wonderful collie companion for her forever family.
