*Note: Rocky requires a physical fence higher than 4’.
Rocky is the complete package. He loves being chased outside by his foster sibling but is equally happy observing life from his favorite spots in the house or just exploring the yard. Rocky loves to gaze out the window as well. When he came to his foster mom’s, he didn’t know what toys were for and now he is playing with toys on his own. His foster mom used the words “handsome, friendly and lovable” repeatedly for Rocky. That makes for a winning combination in any family member.
On walks, Rocky likes to meet people with friendly wags of the tail and then move close enough to be petted. When it’s mealtime or when treats are offered, watch out! This boy is happily motivated by food, and food motivation is a plus when training. Speaking of training, Rocky hasn’t had much time to be trained so far, but he is house-trained and is progressing with “come” and “no.” Your yard will need a physical fence higher than 4 feet. Rocky deduced how to escape fences only 4 feet high. Sometimes collies are too clever for their own good. All Rocky needs now is to be in his forever home.
