Description:

Simon is a happy balance of calm and energetic when appropriate. Let this boy run in the yard and he is a very active puppy looking to engage in play and exercise. On the other hand, bring him inside and he is happy to play with a favorite toy or cuddle. Simon hasn’t looked to get up on the couch yet, but he learned from his foster’s little dog to climb steps next to the bed to lie down. He has been great with a younger and older child he is with daily. He is curious about cats but is fine with them. When meeting a dog smaller than he is, he handles it accordingly. If it’s a larger dog, he waits for that dog to greet him. Talk about smart! Simon is eager to learn and is food motivated.

Simon is a collie, so typical to the breed, he barks to alert that a stranger or delivery person is on the property. He will also bark when crated for a few minutes then settles down and does just fine. 

Smart, multifaceted, gets along with people, dogs and cats, likes to eat, play and cuddle: Simon is the complete collie puppy package. Simon and his brother Levi are being fostered together.
