Description:

When people meet Falynn, their first comment is always about how pretty she is. She has a beautiful black and tan coat, amber eyes, and the sweetest face! Her foster family describes her as good-natured but a bit shy, which makes her cautious around new people and new places. She will be skittish when first introduced, but once she realizes that there is no threat she quickly warms up and becomes relaxed. In fact, she adores her foster family and wants their love and attention, cuddles and pets. Her fosters are working on her commands and she is attentive and listens well. She knows how to sit, go to bed, and gently take treats. She is somewhat sensitive to the word “no” and will quietly slink away when reprimanded. This sweet girl just wants to please!

Falynn was living outdoors with a sibling before coming to Almost Home. She is currently in a home with other dogs and gets along great with them. She greets them appropriately and loves running and chasing them in the yard, but she will leave playtime to be with a human if given the choice. Her foster family continues to work on leash walking, which is new to her, and feel with her strong attentiveness and intelligence that she will master this as well.

With time, this calm, gentle girl will blossom with confidence! She is very relaxed in the comfort of her foster home and can be left alone. She will make a great dog for someone who will take the time to win her trust, teach her, and show her that she will be protected.
