Description:
If there were a Mr. Congeniality contest, Bodie would be sure to win the award. He is the friendliest of dogs and has never met a stranger. He loves other dogs too, so he would love if his forever family had a dog who loved to play as much as he does and wouldn’t mind a little roughhousing. If he had another fur sibling or more, Bodie would have a difficult time deciding if he loved people, other dogs or playing with toys the most because he obviously enjoys all three. He loves the soft squeaky toys and will try to engage any nearby people or other dogs in a game of fetch or chase. If no one is interested, he will push the toy around the floor with his nose. As a 1-year-old, it is not surprising that he occasionally has a little zoomie time; however, you will also find him taking a nice snooze. When not snoozing, though, he wants to be part of any action going on, and he can be found curiously sniffing and exploring.
This young boy also enjoys lounging on the furniture with his foster siblings and humans and is known to give kisses with abandon. Bodie is smart and is working on sit, stay, come and no. The only thing that gives this guy pause are loud unexpected noises, but his foster family is working on that with him.
Bodie is a joy to have around. He loves cars rides and going places, does not need to be crated, and does pretty well walking on a leash. He is showing his foster family what a wonderful family dog he is and is waiting for his forever family to show up and claim his delightful self.
