Description:
Dustin came to Almost Home with his siblings and he is being fostered with his brother Will. He also has a striking coat which is mostly white. The two of them are like peas in a pod, so you will notice that at the moment their bios are exactly the same. A typical, energetic puppy, he loves being outside and enjoys all forms of play: exploring, running, wrestling, chasing and playing ball. When Dustin is inside he is sociable and happy to be active if he is engaged, but he also enjoys cuddling and follows his people around the house. He is outgoing and gets along well with other dogs and loves people, so he would do well being part of an active multi-pet family which could include cats.
He initiates play with kids and happily engages with them. Dustin prefers to be around his “pack” so is typically “puppy sad” when left alone. He does okay when the family leaves but is rather put out if he is in the crate when everyone is home. At his age, leash training and house training are all in progress, but he's a smart boy and we think he will learn the skills and routines quickly. Dustin is happy to chew on toys that are given to him, so keeping plenty in the vicinity helps him to stay busy with them rather than things you don't want him to chew. As puppies go, he's a joy to have around; he’s happy boy, and having playmates really helps with his typical puppy energy.
