Description:
Angel is a very happy seven-year-old collie/Shetland sheepdog. Angel arrived in foster care after going through a difficult time. She had been well loved but needed a new home after her owners both passed away. Almost home stepped in and Angel made it to her foster house and started her journey to her forever home. Because of her small size there has been some discussion about whether she is a collie or a sheltie but veterinarian listed her as a Shetland sheepdog.
Everyone working with Angel said she was just that—an Angel. Angel seeks and gives affection around the clock. She is a Velcro dog and will follow her owner wherever they go. Her favorite thing to do is cuddle. She prefers to be next to her person on the couch or in the bed. She would love to be in a home where she could give someone attention all day. She wants to be the center of her person’s attention and, when in a home with other dogs, lets everyone know that she is happiest when she is getting the human attention. She is a little dominant and might enjoy being the only dog in her new home. Angel is house trained. She walks very well on leash. She also did very well on her long car trips and has has great manners when a guest arrives. She has been left alone in the house over several days for no more than six hours but without any incidents, so a crate is not necessarily needed. Whoever adopts Angel will receive a companion that will love them more than they can possibly imagine.
