Description:

Ryder is a handsome collie who has not let a disability slow him down. Dogs adjust well to having three legs and Ryder is remarkable. He loves to play and run, chasing his foster dog sibling around the yard. He's a friendly dog, curious about his environment and excited to get to know everyone he meets. Indoors he is relaxed and enjoys being near his foster family but is also content to take a nap in a quiet place. He does not like being crated but did fine when the family was been gone for a few hours. Although there are no children in the household, Ryder has spent time with children out of doors and other than a tendency to jump up in excitement, just loves them. He is house trained, has not had experience with a leash as yet due to hot weather and he does well in the car. He might do best in a single level house, although that is not a requirement but would love to have a fenced in yard to run and play.
