Description:
Roman a beautiful, tall guy who, although older, is young at heart. He loves to play tug or ball outside with the fosters and resident dogs. Although playing is a favorite activity, getting treats trumps everything. Indoors he is a mellow, affectionate velcro dog, wanting to be wherever the humans are. Not only does Roman do well with other dogs, even younger ones, he also does well with cats. He has not had experience with children. He is welcoming to people who come to the door and does it calmly. Roman is good natured and low key and curious about his environment both indoors and out. He is house trained and is working on walking on a leash. He does need some help getting in and out of the car, but we think this is a new experience for him and treats are the perfect encouragement. Roman might be “just right” fit for your family and he will fit right in!
