Description:
Cole was a gentle stray who was finally brought in to a shelter and then to Almost Home. His sweet eyes were hopeful as he was transported to the vet and his foster home in spite of being so very thing and his coat being full of burrs.
Cole has been settling in to his foster home. Outside, he is curious and explores the yard. He is beginning to play with other dogs in the household and definitely enjoys his human caretaker. Cole is laid back, but, if his foster mom moves to another room, he is quick to follow her to make sure he knows where she is. A crate has been used, but he does bark a bit when put in it. So far Cole has proven trustworthy when he is not crated when the family is gone. He is a bit shy and unsure of himself when first meeting new people and wants to leave the room if he encounters unfamiliar objects or sounds. Cole is good with cats and although he’s not been around children would probably do fine other than being excited and jumping. He does well on a leash and in the car. He is intelligent and sensitive and would do well in a home that is as laid back as he is and is understanding of his shy nature.
