Snickers spent his first five years chained to a dog house. His world was basically a five foot circle. Lonlieness, always being on guard, never knowing the warmth inside a home or the companionship of proudly belonging to a family. Snickers did not experience the love, a gentle touch, soft voices, praise, laughter, and joy that indoor dogs that are true family members thrive on.
Thankfully Snickers got rescued. He’s been with a great foster. With his foster family he has learned to become a pet and more importantly a beloved family member. He has learned to relax and enjoy snuggling on the couch.
Snickers is a big happy beautiful 61 pound Collie full of pure affection who is very compliant and loves nothing more than pleasing those around him. He absolutely thrives on being around his foster family. Friendly is an understatement with this boy. He is getting along great with another collie, a cat, and children that live in the household. Snickers is still learning many things like what toys are and now playing is becoming a new learned behavior. This strong friendly collie also very much is enjoying walks on a leash which has opened up a whole new world that he loves to sniff and explore.
Will you be the one to bring him out of the weather forever with a fabulous loving home?
